Bringing your car in for a service is never fun. The inconvenience, repairs and inevitable costs often make the experience a pain. To help alleviate this, Audi dealerships offer an ‘Audi Health Check’ which is a complimentary 30-point vehicle inspection and six months of no-charge roadside assistance. To draw attention to this program the task was to create a unique experience for out-of-warranty Audi owners that promoted the Audi Health Check in a surprisingly delightful way. We reached out to loyal out-of-warranty owners to book a complimentary Audi Health Check. When they came in for their appointment, instead of offering them our regular courtesy shuttle, we surprised them with a something much better.

• Within days after posting the video on YouTube, it had over 150,000 views, with no accompanying paid media plan.
• Over 20 automotive and news publication websites posted the video and wrote articles that praised Audi Canada for going above and beyond for some of their longest-standing customers.
• The stunt exceeded its marketing objectives with an estimated $1,300,000 in earned media.
• Most importantly, there was a 40% increase in Audi Health Check registrations from the previous season, resulting in a 938% ROI.
